Time Travel in Paris! Your Guide to the 2026 "La Fête de Paris" (Exclusive Pick for Studio Paris 16 Guests)
Welcome to Studio Paris 16! If you happen to be visiting Paris in mid-September 2026, there is an unmissable annual event waiting for you right in the heart of the city.

To make your Parisian trip even more unforgettable, we highly recommend a spectacular, public cultural event happening on September 12 and 13, 2026 — La Fête de Paris (The Paris Festival).

This grand historical festival will transport you back in time in a matter of seconds. Whether you're a history buff or a traveler simply looking to experience authentic Parisian vibes, this event will exceed your expectations!

🌟 Festival Highlights You Can't Miss:

A 1,500-Year Historical Village: Located in the 5th and 6th arrondissements (between Jardin du Luxembourg and Place André Honnorat), the area will transform into a historical village spanning multiple eras. This year's theme is "Theater," bringing to life a Viking camp, a Medieval village, a Napoleonic camp, the glamorous Belle Époque, and the Liberation of Paris!

Immersive Artisans and Performances: Wander through the village and meet actors, sculptors, jewelers, vintage photographers, and swing dancers in beautiful period costumes. They will offer captivating demonstrations, creative workshops, and interactive games.

Grand Historical Parade: Don't miss the grand costume parade starting at the Panthéon on Sunday (September 13) at 2:00 PM! It features brass bands, historical vehicles, dancers, and legendary figures from Parisian history (such as Sainte Geneviève, the patron saint of Paris). Along the route, you'll also enjoy musketeer duels, jugglers, acrobats, and street theater.

Open-Air Dance (Guinguette) & Local Gastronomy: Need a break? The gourmet food hall brings together local delicacies, from Paris Ham to Brie Noir de Melun, with plenty of tastings to delight your taste buds. You can also dance the day away or relax under the shaded tables of the giant open-air guinguette!

The Roaring Twenties Ball (Bal Années folles): If you love dancing and dressing up, you can purchase a ticket for €55 to join this Joséphine Baker-themed evening party hosted by the Carnet de Bals association.

💡 Tips from Studio Paris 16:

Tickets & Reservations: With the exception of the "Roaring Twenties Ball", the entire festival is completely free! However, we strongly recommend booking your free tickets in advance on their official website to ensure you get a good spot for popular events like Sunday's costume parade.

Getting There: From our Studio Paris 16 guest house, it is incredibly easy to hop on the metro and head straight to the Left Bank (Jardin du Luxembourg and Panthéon areas) to join in this Parisian celebration.

In Paris, you don't just see the sights—you live them. As Ernest Hemingway famously wrote, "Paris is a moveable feast." Bring your good mood and immerse yourself in the history and romance of the city!
